    I'm from Phoenix,AZ and spent most of my 4 years in Denver looking for good tortillas...well, I found them!!!  While you visit, make sure to get some tamales as well.  Some of the best food in Denver!

    Tamales are ok, but not worth $17 doz, I've never seen tamales that expensive. Maybe they get the meat from the golden pig.

    First time here looking for tamales to go  .I purchased 6 green & 6 red plus a dozen tortillas on last Friday ( they also had green with cheese ) afternoon .the tamales smelled so good I had to eat some on the way home  and I was RIGHT THEY WERE EXCELLENT  !!!! Great flavor and meaty not like some of the other places who used to be really good but are now selling mesa with very little meat ( moranos ) I will be going back to 4421 tejon st to try other items they have ..  I want to try all the take out  ...! The up side to this post hopefully makes them busy and they stay in business the down side ..I'll have to wait in line ...worth the wait

    These tamales are amazing!
    If you're looking for fresh, tasty, lots of filling, huge, tamales at a reasonable price THIS is the place to get them!
    And I loved their green and red chile, rice and beans.
    Can't wait to get mine for Christmas!
